Despite being sick in bed on a Monday, I'm hopeful for a good week! I even have a lunch of cashew Thai quinoa salad with peanut ginger dressing ready to go!

What's in store this week in the library:

My big thing is we're gearing up for the Dia de los Muertos Storytelling event. That means, this week we are building the floral backdrop, decorating the candles, and learning how to tell a two-minute (or less) story. More on that piece later.

In addition to that we have:

Picture retakes on Tuesday. This will be an exciting hour in the morning tomorrow. Ninety minutes, tops.

PSAT/ Dallas Winds. The library is the tech hub for the PSAT Thursday. Since the tech hub is not a "secure" testing location, we are also hosting the Dallas Winds while they perform for the kinder/ pre-k music classes.

I'm kind of intrigued by this. I'll share more on social media because it sounds pretty cool.

So that's my week. I'll share more as the floral backdrop gets created!
