As I sit on my couch, pondering the problems of the universe while still wearing pajama pants, I feel like a parent after the post Christmas morning highs. Except I'm at home and the paper and clean up I need to manage is at work in the form of a six-foot by nine-foot wall of tissue paper flowers we used for our Dias de los Muertos celebration.

It's pretty cool, y'all. That said all cool things must come to an end and, yes, the Christmas tree must come down before Valentine's day, so to speak.

Before Friday's problem. Anyway . . .

Regarding Lunch

Guys, I need a reset.

I've been busy. Well, first I got sick and then things got busy, plus there was Halloween candy EVERYWHERE, so I need a nutritional and physical health reset, probably at the world's worst time for a nutritional and physical health reset.

This week we are having zucchini lasagna for lunch. I big time modified the recipe:

Added chicken. No mozzarella. Marinara sauce as opposed to meat sauce. It's going to be fine, y'all. It really will be. Also sprinkled pine nuts to the top because who doesn't like pine nuts?

Otherwise, what's up this week?

All 1,340 of us (more or less) will be checking out books. Weirdly, this feels like a break except 1,340 books (more or less) will get returned as well. I'm also gearing up for our participation in Winter Market that will happen at the same time as the book fair. Yes, I am a brave soul. Or I'm crazy. The point could be both proven and argued effectively either way and I no longer care. Either way it's merely a label and I simply don't have time for labels these days because I have Winter Market and book fair coming down the pipe.

What you'll see from me later . . .

I'm proud of our week of Dias de los Muertos so much that I'm going to talk about it in that annoying way that people do on the recipe blogs, while spilling all the tea and bloopers. And then there's research. I have plenty to say about research.

Also, I should do library statistics. Maybe you'll see those too.
